Where is the race being held? The start/finish line along with spectator bleachers, vendor set-ups and Arctic Cat sled demos will be at Bullwinkle's Raceway in Greenville Junction. Look for signs as you enter Greenville.
Will all of the classes be offered? All classes on the registration form will be offered. Depending on number of entries, classes may be grouped.
How long is each race? The course loop is 12 miles. USCC officials will inspect the trail course and determine how many laps each class will do. This information will not be available until the morning of the race.
Where is the race trail? The trail course will begin at Bullwinkles Raceway in Greenville Junction. It then continues up to Little Moose Mt. and loops back to the raceway. The terrain varies. It is a mountain trail that runs through the woods, on some straightaways and up and down elevation changes. No ITS trails are included in the race.
What is in Greenville, Maine? Greenville is a small community on the shores of Moosehead Lake. Although there are no "chain" stores or restaurants, the area has much to offer. There is a large grocery store, trading post, snowmobile dealers, outdoor outfitters, sled rentals, restaurants & pubs and gift shops. Best of all there are incredible mountain and lake views throughout town.
Is there a spectator area? There will be a raceway "infield" where racers will start and navigate through jumps and obstacles before they head for the trail, then they will return to the infield for the finish. Racers will leave in a staggered start so there will be lots of action to watch. Some of the races such as the Pro 600 will do 8 "laps" of the 12 mile trail so they will pass in front of the crowd several times. There are bleachers for seating.
What else will be there? There will be Arctic Cat demo rides, numerous outdoor vendor set-ups, indoor vendor tables and food. There will be plenty of parking for both cars and sleds. Sleds can access the race from ITS 85.
How much are tickets? Tickets cost $5 (under 10 free) and are available at the gate. You will be able to come in and out after paying so you may visit area businesses. USCC racers- bring your card to get in free.
